Hello, I’m Dr. Yoe, and I believe in full transparency when it comes to my professional credentials. That’s why I’m outlining the details of my licenses and certifications here. My educational journey began with an Associate's in Emergency Medical Science and a Bachelor's in Psychology, both of which laid the foundation for my future work in mental health. After eight more years of graduate education, I now hold a Master’s in Social Work, a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. This unique educational journey reflects my dedication to a well-rounded understanding of both the medical, clinical, and social aspects of mental health. My licenses—some earned and others in progress—demonstrate my commitment to continuous learning and maintaining high standards in my field.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA)
After earning my Master’s in Social Work, I chose to further my expertise by immediately pursuing a second Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. This rigorous six-year journey included an APPIC-approved predoctoral placement, ensuring comprehensive training in assessment, intervention, and evidence-based clinical practice. While my path differed from the traditional LCSW licensure timeline, I am now actively completing the required supervised hours under the guidance of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. -
NC Psychology License – Applicant Status
Earning a Psy.D. in North Carolina requires rigorous academic and clinical training, including thousands of hours of supervised experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. In addition to coursework and research, I completed extensive practicum placements and a full-time, yearlong clinical internship. Currently, I hold an Applicant License, which grants me full approval to practice under supervision while I prepare for my board examination. Upon passing, I will transition to Provisional Licensure, followed by a year of supervised practice before achieving full independent licensure. -
Collaborative Supervision for Excellence
To ensure the highest level of care, I engage in weekly dual supervision—one hour under an LCSW and another with a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. This rigorous oversight enhances the depth and quality of my clinical work, providing my clients with a truly integrative approach to therapy.

Diplomate in Sleep Medicine (In Progress)
I am actively working toward a Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine, a prestigious certification that represents the highest level of expertise in the field. This rigorous training program deepens my proficiency in treating insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and other sleep-related mental health concerns. This specialized knowledge enables me to integrate cutting-edge, evidence-based sleep interventions into my practice.
