Donate to support our veterans and Eastern Band Cherokee tribal members
At Blue Ridge Brief Interventions, I believe that quality sleep and effective parenting support are fundamental to well-being. However, many in our community, including veterans and members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, face significant barriers to accessing these essential services. With your support, I can provide expert sleep medicine care and in-home parenting guidance to those in our underserved communities.

Why This Cause Matters to Me

As a graduate of a rural-focused clinical psychology and social work program, I have spent much of my career aiming understand and address systemic barriers in healthcare. During my studies, I had the opportunity to learn about systemic racism, study the history of the Cherokee people, and work alongside veterans—many of whom I came to know personally. I have a deep respect for these communities' experiences and would appreciate your help in ensuring that these vital members of our community receive the care and support they deserve.
Why Support These Communities?

Veterans have served our country with dedication, often enduring stress and trauma that impact their sleep and overall health. Many struggle with sleep disorders like insomnia and sleep apnea, which can affect their physical and mental well-being. By supporting their care, you’re helping them regain restful sleep, improve their health, and enhance their daily lives.

Eastern Band of Cherokee Patients hold a rich cultural heritage and deep community ties, yet many face challenges in accessing specialized healthcare. Traditional healing and modern medicine can work together to improve sleep and family well-being, ensuring long-term benefits for individuals and future generations.
